Former Everton midfielder Leon Osman has explained why Ademola Lookman struggled during his time as an Everton player. Osman speaking on Premier League Production on Wednesday morning stated that Lookman is a rare player to find.
The Nigerian descent striker has revived his career with Fulham and has attracted a lot of interest from Premier League clubs ahead of the summer transfer.
Osman said that although the ability of the Nigerian striker is unquestionable, he needs to be more consistent with his performance.
The 39-year-old revealed that although Lookman has the skill at Everton, he was raw and young. He also disclosed that the youngster lacked consistency, but he is showing that at Fulham.
“When he joined Everton, he was young and raw – his ability is unquestionable. He has such skill.
“What he has lacked up till this point is consistency – I think you’ve started to see that more and more in his time this season at Fulham – he’s started to get more end product.
He continued by stating that any team that can push him to be consistent can get him because quality is rare to find in the game. he is a rare
“That’s a chance that that club will take. Will they feel they can get more consistency out of him – because if they can – then he’s certainly a player – that you want in your squad.
“He’s somebody that can unlock the door of the opposition, and they are quite hard to find.
