MFM FC on Sunday in Enugu walked over FC Ifeanyi Ubah in a Week 20 match of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), Futbalgalore.com.ng reports.
The Olukoya Boys secured the maximum three points and three goals after the Nnewi-based team failed to show up at the Cathedral.
This time, they were declared absent 30 minutes after the scheduled kick-off time by the Centre Referee, Nura Abdullahi, who concluded the walk-over formalities with a whistle.
MFM FC team arrived in the stadium at 1pm and waited till 2pm before they were matched into the pitch by the centre referee, who waited till 2.30pm before performing the walkover formalities.
The walkover formalities was observed by Milleye Abubakar, the Match Commissioner, and assessor Peter Edibe.
MFM FC now have 24 points from 20 matches to remain in 15th place, while FC Ifeanyi Ubah currently occupy the 19th position on the NPFL ladder after 20 games, with 17 points.
