Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo has reportedly requested for the Gers to let him leave the club during this summer’s transfer window, Futbalgalore.com.ng reports.
The 24-year-old has been in impressive form for Steven Gerrard’s side this season, scoring eight times in 40 appearances in all competitions.
A number of clubs, including Everton, Norwich City and Watford have been credited with an interest in the central midfielder over the last few months.
Aribo has asked Rangers, who are believed to value the Nigeria international in the region of £10m, to let him leave in the upcoming market.
West Ham United are also keeping a close eye on developments as they consider making an attempt to bring him back to English football.
The ex Charlton Athletic star, who has made 28 Scottish Premier League appearances during the 2020-21 campaign, has a contract at the Ibrox Stadium until May 2023.
