Nigeria’s all time leading goal scorer at the FIFA World Cup, Ahmed Musa is set to make his debut for Nigeria Professional Football League side Kano Pillars this weekend, according to information available to Futbalgalore.com.ng.
Musa joined the Kano based side on a short term deal after so many years abroad, where he spent time with VVV Venlo, CSKA Moscow, Leicester City and Al-Nassr.
Super Eagles’ all time leading goal king in the FIFA World Cup (4 goals) left the shores of Nigeria in the 2011 from Kano Pillars. The Eagles skipper has however made a return to the domestic league where he is expected to glamor the Nigerian top flight.
He joined the Masu Gida as a free agent. But he is yet to make an appearance for the outfit having missed the week 20 fixture against Warri Wolves.
Report gathered this week from the club, reveals that Ahmed Musa has been listed in the 18-man squad for the week 21 come this weekend.
Kano Pillars FC will host Adamawa United who are at bottom of the table.
The game will take place at Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kano. Kickoff is at 4pm.
