English Premier League side Manchester United have shown interest in signing Asisat Oshoala from Barcelona, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Nigerian striker is part of the Barcelona Femini squad that is about to win the treble after securing their first UEFA Women Champions League trophy following a 4-0 victory over Chelsea in Sweden.
According to the report, Asisat Oshoala is considering leaving Barcelona following her reduced game time in Spain. It is believed – that she will accept a move to United, who will guaranty her regular playing time.
In the league, Oshoala has featured in eleven games, scoring nine goals and assisting two. Also, she played nine games and scored four goals in the UEFA Women Champions League.
Barcelona, however, will search for another striker to fill the spot of the Nigerian striker – or promote 18-year-old striker Bruna Vilamala to the first team.
