Manchester United’s legendary manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, has shared a bit of a fantasy to manage players like player of Nigerian descent Dele Alli.
“Fergie” was lauded for being one of the greatest ever man-managers in the history of the game, having successfully worked with big talents like Eric Cantona, David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney, footballers who were not short of strong personality traits.
Speaking on his brand new documentary, Sir Alex Ferguson: Never Give In, the Scotsman named four players he would have loved coaching: Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Son Heung-min and Sergio Aguero.
Kane [is one]. I thought Alli was going to be a top player. I must admit, I don’t know what has gone on there,” the legendary manager said in a documentary Sir Alex Ferguson: Never Give In, as per SPORTbible.
“Kane and the boy Son at Tottenham, these have been excellent players.
“Aguero has been a terrific striker, there’s no doubt about that. His goal-scoring has been exceptional.
“The top teams will always produce a player that can stand out,” the Man United icon concluded.
