Crotone sporting director Beppe Ursino denied the club has begun talk with Torino for the signature of Simy Nwankwo, according to a report from Torinogranata.
The Nigerian striker finished the season with twenty goals despite Crotone returning to Serie B. His goals put him in the record book as Nigeria’s all-time scorer in Italy.
Ursino revealed that Simy Nwankwo is not in the market and the club has not began talked with Torino on the transfer of the Nigerian striker.
“Simy is on the market because he is in great demand. We haven’t talked about anything with Torino yet”.
Aside from Torino, several clubs in Italy are interested in signing the Nigerian striker with newly-promoted Salernitana, Lazio, Fiorentina, Sampdoria, Genoa, and Monza among the names mentioned.
