Eredivisie side FC Twente have declared interest to sign Tyronne Ebuhei permanently after an impressive loan spell, Portuguese sports daily A Bola report.
Benfica loaned Tyronne Ebuhei to FC Twente at the start of the season after the Super Eagles left-back failed to secure a spot in the squad.
Tyronne Ebuhei joined Benfica in the summer of 2018, but an injury suffered during the International Champions Cup in the USA ruled him out of the 2018/2019 season.
According to the report, The Tukkers are planning to exercise the purchase option – that was inserted – in the deal.
Benfica inserted an option to buy at the rate of two million euros, Twente, however, want the fee reduced.
Ebuhei made thirty-three appearances, scored a goal, and assisted one.
