Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, Uchenna Kanu, and Ngozi Okobi have withdrawn from the invitational tournament in the USA.
The trio was among the players invited to prosecute the tournament but have now pulled out. According to Score Nigeria, both players withdraw from the tournament, because of logistics reasons.
However, the Super Falcons coach Randy Waldrum has named two players to replace the missing trio. He extended an invitation to Onyinyechi Zogg and Roosa Ariyo.
Both players are of Nigerian descent – with Onyinyechi playing for FC Zurich, while Roosa Ariyo was born in Finland.
Super Falcons will start the tournament against Jamaica on Thursday in Houston. They will face Portugal and the host USA in the last game of the competition.
