English Premier League club Leicester City are interested in signing Red Bull Salzburg striker Patson Daka as a replacement for Kelechi Iheanacho.
Iheanacho had a successful season in the Premier League, scoring twelve goals and providing two assists in twenty-five league games.
According to the Daily Express, Brendan Rodgers is not convinced of the quality of the Nigerian striker and wants to sign the Zambian International.
The report also claimed that Rodgers believes Daka is the long-term replacement for Jamie Vardy but wants another striker should Kelechi Iheanacho drops form.
Daka scored twenty-seven goals, created four assists in twenty-eight league games in Austria.
Leicester are not the only club seeking to sign Daka, with Liverpool and Chelsea monitoring the situation of the Salzburg striker.
