Loveday Anugbuo – Dakkada FC
He was on form and Warri Wolves were left frustrated by his heroics. They found goals harder to come by than truffles in a thousand-acre woodland. He made three stops in the first 45 minutes. In the second half he saved several goal-worthy efforts.
Olisa Ndah – Akwa United
The fullback gave a gritty solid defensive display, and whilst he did not offer too much going forward he won plenty of tackles when faced by the Pillars forwards.
Olawale Doyeni – Dakkada FC
Like a posse of bus drivers painstakingly manoeuvring their vehicles into the penalty box the centre-back ensured not a centimetre of goal was left unguarded. Always involved, blocked out Wolves attackers from the game.
Kareem Abduolaye – Dakkada FC
The motor in his legs makes him run much more than everyone else. Against Warri Wolves he was everywhere, popping up with the winner.
Ismail Maiyaki – Wikki Tourists
The centre of the Giant Elephants’ midfield, Maiyaki delivered a fantastic game, directing play and always making the right decision.
Ifeanyi Nweke – Rangers
The goal that opened the game against Sunshine Stars and then a solid show at the back.
Joseph Atule – Katsina United
A thunderbolt on the flank, showing his lethal skills with two assists as Katsina United humbled Enyimba.
Chinedu Ohanachom – Nasarawa United
This is what Nasarawa United need against Enyimba. In one of the most important games of the season, the striker stepped up scoring one and creating an assist in the derby win over Plateau United.
Ekene Awazie – FC Ifeanyi Ubah
Two goals scored at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium against Wikki Tourists. That is all.
Nazifi Yahaya – Wikki Tourists
His pace, work rate and three goals gave the edge, and with Wikki Tourists edging FC Ifeanyi Ubah 4-3 in Bauchi.
