It was jubilation galore as Nigerian duo Kingsley Eduwo and Sokari Kingsley helped CS Xfaxien win the Tunisian Cup final on Sunday.
Xfaxien emerged champions after edging Club Africain 5-4 on penalties.
Eduwo and Sokari both lasted 120 minutes but they played no part in the tension soaked shootouts.
The two Nigeria international were also booked at Stade Arkou.
After conquering Club Africain in the final, Eduwo and Sokari celebrated with the Nigerian flag. This showed a sense of National Consciousness.
Born in Lagos, Eduwo has played club football for Gateway United, Sunshine Stars, Lobi Stars, CS Sfaxien and Al-Najaf.
He made his international debut for Nigeria in 2017.
Following his performances in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) in 2014, Sokari was noticed by the national team handlers. He was invited to train with the U-20 team in preparation for the AYC 2015; played for the U-23 side coached by Samson Siasia and earned his senior cap for the Nigerian national team in a friendly in January 2015.
Sokari started the 2015 U-20 World cup game against North Korea, scoring a scorcher from 25 yards for the 3rd goal of the game.
