Week 29 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season saw Rangers pipped Warri Wolves 1-0 in Ozoro.
Nasarawa United claimed an important three points as they defeated Rivers United rivals whilst city Adamawa United overcame Jigawa Golden Stars.
Abdullahi Biffo’s Kwara United gained a much-needed three points as they beat Sunshine Stars thanks to an early Michael Ohanu goal.

Bassa Djeri – Enyimba
The keeper parried countless efforts from the Plateau United attack at the New Jos International Stadium. He was brilliant behind the sticks. Unbeatable!
Chigozie Obasi – Nasarawa United
Kept the back door securely locked against Rivers United and pushed forward regularly down the right flank, linking up well with Aliyu Abdullahi in particular. His free kick was a sweet stuff. World class!
Olawale Doyeni – Dakkada FC
Comfortably deal with threats posed by the Abia Warriors attack and made numerous interceptions. Never looked flustered and was always composed when in possession. Smart!
Ernest Governor – Rangers
A wonderful performance from Rangers defender Ernest Governor. He governed his territory, won countless tackles and was commanding in the air. Superb!
Stephen Manyo – Enyimba
Gave everything for his side as Enyimba earned a well deserved point in Jos. Marked the opposing Plateau United attackers ruggedly even if he did occasionally go behind the limits of the law. He also ventured forward on the odd occasion too to support his side’s attacks. Solid!
Ifeanyi Nweke – Rangers
Nweke slots in at left back in the XI. He instrumental in helping his side pick three points. The former Rivers United man delivered countless dangerous crosses. Effective!
Henry Ochuba – Adamawa United
Seemed to almost always appear wherever the ball was, winning it back and also using it constructively when receiving it. The former Go Round ace was rewarded with the second goal of the game. Energetic!
Chijioke Akuneto – Heartland
Displayed remarkable energy levels to consistently press the opposing MFM FC players for the duration of the whole match. Was a smooth operator when in possession, gliding past opposing players and also assisted the Heartland’s second goal of the day. Crucial!
Isaac George – Dakkada FC
Exploited the spaces in the Abia Warriors defence perfectly to net a spectacular winner. Brilliant!
Christian Nnaji – Rangers
The forward youngster tormented the opposing defenders with his pace and skill. He bagged the winner. Excellent!
Michael Ohanu – Kwara United
The forward scored the only goal in United’s won over Sunshine Stars. He demonstrated clever movement to net from close range. Reliable!
