36 Lion graduate Yusuf Lawal shone like a million stars to help Neftçi PFC Bakı edge Dinamo Tbilisi 2-1 in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers on Wednesday.
The winger who models his game around Obafemi Obagoal Martins provided an assist for the Azerbaijan Premyer Liqa Champions who won the first leg tie at Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena (Tbilisi).
Lawal picked up a booking in the second half and was replaced by Ömər Fuad Buludov with three minutes left on the clock.
Yusuf Lawal will be hoping to help plan the downfall of Dinamo Tbilisi when the second leg takes place at Bakcell Arena on 14th July.
