Nigeria international Stephen Odey could be headed for another loan spell with Greuther Furth reportedly interested in signing him.
The newly-promoted Bundesliga side are wasting no time in strengthening their squad for the coming season and have set sights on Odey.
The club, however, prefers a loan move for Odey, according to Futbalgalore.com.ng.
The 23-year-old is not sure of a regular spot at KRC Genk and would fancy a move.
The MFM FC product still has a contract with Genk until 2024 and was loaned to Amiens SC last season. He made 28 appearances and scored six goals for the French Ligue 2 side.
With that loan deal expiring, Odey has been frozen out of the first team of parent club Genk by coach John van den Brom.
The coach has reportedly told the striker to look elsewhere for playing time.
The Nigerian international signed for Genk in July 2019 for €3.5m.
