Genk still have Paul Onuachu included in their plans for the coming season despite reports linking the attacker with a move away from the club this summer.
Watford are said to be heavily interested in acquiring Onuachu’s services and made contact with the 26-year-old’s representatives.
His reported price tag is 30 million euros, but while Watford haven’t been made formal approach.
He returned to the pre-season squad and was in action against Club Brugge at the Belgian Super Cup.
His absence from friendly games prior had fuelled talks of his potential exit.
But he started over the weekend and gave a good account of himself.
