Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen scored double brace in his first pre season outing for Napoli to help the Serie A side to a 12-0 win over Anaunia on Sunday, reports.

Coach Luciano Spalletti set his team out in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Matteo Politano, Eljif Elmas and Adam Ounas fanning out behind Osimhen.

North Macedonia international Elmas got the first goal of the campaign, turning in the Ounas assist.

Nigerian striker Osimhen then ran wild with four individual goals, joining with a Kostas Manolas header and Stanislav Lobotka strike to end the first half 7-0.

The entire outfield 10 changed after the restart, but the goals continued to flow, with Gennaro Tutino, Amato Ciciretti, Zinedine Machach and Andrea Petagna finding the net.

Osimhen’s first goal came just after 8 minutes and he applied a superb finish.

After just 12 minutes, the former Lille and Sporting Charleroi man netted another goal, making it a brace.

The 22-year-old forward bagged his third in the 35th minute before adding another one shortly after.

Osimhen joined Napoli who splashed a record transfer fee of €71m to get the young Nigerian from Lille in 2020.

Last season, the ex Wolfsburg attacker scored 10 goals in 24 appearances for the Parthenopeans.
