Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo scored a brace in the first half half to help Al Shabab draw 2-2 with Spanish outfit Rayo Vallacano in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday, Futbalgalore.com.ng reports.
Ighalo was on target in the 9th and 44th minutes respectively.
Andrés Martín delivered a double to force a draw for Rayo Vallacano in the pulsating encounter.
The hugely talented Ighalo played an influential role for Al Shabab with nine goals in 13 games as his team finished in Saudi Arabian Pro League last season.
He is the poster boy for the side and will be key ahead of the start of the new season.
The striker lists Prime FC, Julius Berger, Lyn Oslo, Cesena, Udinese, Granada, Watford, Changchun Yatai and Shanghai Shenhua as his former clubs.
Odion Ighalo quit international football in 2019 but he is opening to making a return to the Gernot Rohr managed Super Eagles.
