Genk are reportedly still planning to offload Stephen Odey during this summer’s transfer window.

The 23-year-old, who has been linked with Zulte Waregem and Sporting Charleroi, has struggled to make his mark for Genk since joining them in 2019.

There had been suggestions that the Nigeria international would be given the chance to make his mark during the 2021-22 campaign.

However, according to, nothing changed the situation, with Genk still keen on selling the MFM FC product before the transfer deadline.

The report claims that Odey is also open to moving on, as he wants to secure regular football next season in order to stand a chance of making the Nigeria squad for the 2022 World Cup.

The former FC Zurich youngster scored six goals on loan at Amiens SC in the 2020/21 season.
