Adana Demirspor’s spending spree at the summer continues, with winger David Akintola joining from Midtjyllland.
The forward was keen to leave this summer and has moved to the Turkish Super Lig on a three-year contract.
He transferred to Midtjylland in November 2014 from FC Ebedei. He played for Midtjylland U19 in the 2014/2015 season, where they won the league. He helped the team, scoring 9 goals.
The 25-year-old played on loan at Thisted, Jerv, Haugesund, Rosenborg, Omonia Nicosia and Hatayspor in the last five seasons.
The multi dimensional player comes highly rated following a productive loan spell at Hatayspor last season.
His signing makes it the ninth addition of Adana Demirspor at the summer transfer after Benjamin Stambouli, Britt Assombalonga, Ferhat Kaplan, Jonas Svensson, Mario Balotelli, Bünyamin Balat, Tayfun Aydogan and Lucas Castro.
It will be recalled that another Ebedie product Frank Onyeka recently joined Premier League club Brentford Town from Midtjyllland.
