KRC Genk have decided to take Cyriel Dessers off the market after cutting down their striker options, Futbalgalore.com.ng reports.

However, Futbalgalore.com.ng claims this morning that the Smurfs have decided to keep hold of the 26-year-old for this season.
That is because they are already planning to loan Stephen Odey and are in advanced negotiations to sell Paul Onuachu.
Dessers has always shown a great deal of promise, but struggled to find the right role, playing as a centre-forward, a support striker or on the wing.
During the 2020-21 season, he contributed four goals in 28 Belgian League games for Genk.
He was purchased from Heracles Almelo in 2020 for a €4m fee.
