Super Eagles dazzler Chidera Ejuke was on target in CSKA Moscow’s 2-0 home victory over FK Akhmat on Saturday afternoon, in the week 5 of Russia Premier League.
The former Heerenveen FC star retained his spot in the home team’s starting eleven, and he was able to guide them to a remarkable victory.
Chidera Ejuke started in the home team’s attacking midfield alongside Ilzat Akhmetov and Nikola Vlasic and the trio were superb in the game.
Both teams efforts to open scoring in the first half of the game were not successful, as the first half ended goalless.
Vladislav Yakovlev opened scoring for the home team in the 71st minutes before Chidera Ejuke doubled the lead in the 75th minutes to end the match 2-0.
