Oparanozie bags brace from Dijon in win over Zogg’s Soyaux, Sunday benched

Super Falcon striker Desire Oparanozie bagged a brace for Dijon as they edged Onyinyechi Zogg’s Soyaux 2-1 at the Stade Léo Lagrange on Saturday.

The former Falconets forward got the scoring started in the 24th minute after latching on to Lena Goetsch’s assist.

Six minutes into the second half, Kelly Gadéa equalised for the home team following good work from Laura Bourgouin.

Oparanozie restored the lead for Dijon on 52 minutes after Leo Declercq set her up.

The 27-year-old took her tally for the season to three goals in the French Feminine Division One.

Another Super Falcons forward Esther Sunday was benched in the game.
