Ahead of today’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and their central African Republic counterpart, the Authentic Nigeria Football and Allied Sports Supporters Club, ANFASSC on Saturday evening arrived Douala for the extremely important encounter.
Recall that the Super Eagles were beaten 1-0 in Lagos on Thursday in the first leg of the qualifiers, and must now throw everything at the Central African Nation to redeem their image.
On arrival in Cameroon, ANFASSC were received by the Nigeria high commission in Cameroon ably led by Ambassador Abayomi Olonisakin, it was a colourful and hospitable welcome all through as well by top officials of the 2021 hosts of the Africa Cup of Nations.
National President of the Authentic Nigeria Football and Allied Sports Supporters Club, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi expressed optimism that the Super Eagles will correct their mistakes when they file out against CAR today, he added that topping the group at the end of the series is as well not in doubt.
