Portuguese-based defender Zaidu Sanusi has arrived in Abuja, Nigeria where he has joined the Super Eagles to continue preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations.
The left back was in action for FC Porto in their 3-1 victory over Benfica on Friday night.
The talented Sanusi was well received by officials on Sunday morning.
He is one of the full backs that interim head coach Augustine Eguavoen named for the tournament in Cameroon.
Eguavoen called up 28 players for the competition, but thus far players in camp are not up to 15 with less than two weeks to start the competition.
The ex Gombe United gaffer expects a full house by January 3 as UK-based players have permission to join after this weekend.
Nigeria will play their first match on January 11 against Egypt.
