Ahead of Nigeria’s participation at the 33rd Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), nine foreign based professionals have arrived the Super Eagles camp in Abuja.
Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfried Ndidi, Kenneth Omeruo, William Troost-Ekong, Semi Ajayi, Ola Aina, Alex Iwobi, Kelechi Nwakali and Frank Onyeka joined the squad at the Nation’s Federal Capital Territory.
They are expected to join the squad on evening workout under the guidance of coach Augustine Eguavoen.
If there are no changes to their traveling plans, the likes of Jamilu Collins (SC Padeborn 07, Germany); Tyrone Ebuehi (Venezia FC, Italy); Joseph Ayodele-Aribo (Glasgow Rangers, Scotland); Samuel Chukwueze (Villarreal FC, Spain) and Odion Jude Ighalo (Al-Shabab Riyadh, Saudi Arabia) will link up with the team on Tuesday evening.
The Eagles will leave their training camp for Cameroon, venue of the African Cup of Nations, on Wednesday, January 5.
