FC Nantes’ forward, Moses Simon, has continued to show his quality in the training of Super Eagles ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) match against Egypt.
The former Levante star is among the 26 Super Eagles players who are presently in Garoua for the 33rd AFCON.
Simon brought his A-game in the 30 minutes practice game at VSTS-Annex of Roumde Adjia Stadium on Saturday evening.
Team Yellow humbled Team Green 2-0, with Henry Onyekuru also on song.
The first goal of the entertaining session was through Simon’s low grounder after Samuel Chukwueze spotted him on six minutes.
Olympiacos winger Onyekuru registered his name on the scoresheet after he reacted quickest after Francis Uzoho spilled Kelechi Nwakali’s free kick in the 12th minute.
From the session carried out by interim manager Augustine Eguavoen, it seems like Simon might walk straight into the starting line-up in Tuesday’s game against the Pharaohs.
