Striker Cyriel Dessers won’t be staying at Feyenoord at the end of the 2021/22 season, Futbalgalore.com.ng reports.

The Nigeria international has had a successful campaign at the club, especially in European competition.

In the Eredivisie, the Super Eagle has managed to score nine goals and provided two assists in 27 games. But in the Europa Conference League he scored a further 10 goals.

With his loan spell ending at the end of the season, the player will back to Genk as Feyenoord do not have the financial strength to buy him outrightly.

The 27-year-old has made one appearance for Nigeria, on October 13, 2020, in a friendly match with Tunisia that ended 1-1 under former coach Gernot Rohr.

At least five European clubs have made enquires about the services of the sharp shooter.
