Defender Olisa Ndah lost the CAF Confederations Cup with his South African club, Orlando Pirates.

Pirates were stopped from lifting the trophy in Uyo, Akwa Ibom capital by Moroccan top side RS Berkane via 5-4 penalties after a 1-1 scoreline at regulation time.

Ndah was part of the Super Eagles squad at Cameroun 2021 AFCON. The cenrral defender had a chance of making the World Cup party in Qatar 2022 had Super Eagles qualified.

Indeed, it appears a season of losses for Super Eagles players. Just few days ago Rangers of Scotland trio of Leon Balogun, Joe Aribo and Calvin Bassey lost the Europa League trophy to Eintracht Frankfurt of Germany.

Recall that the quintet of William Troost-Ekong, Oghenekaro Etebo, Emmanuel Dennis, Maduka Okoye and Samuel Kalu went on relegation with Watford in England.
