Venezia have reportedly not had a change of heart regarding the future of Club Brugge loanee David Okereke, Futbalgalore.com.ng reports.
When the Italian side signed the Nigeria international in August 2021, it came with the option of keeping the attacker on a permanent basis.
While it has long been reported that relegated Venezia do not have the financial muscle and are targeting other players ahead of next season.
However, despite scoring seven goals in 32 appearances during the Serie A campaign, Okereke will be returning to Club Brugge, according to transfer expert Ademetan Abayomi.
Although Okereke has just a year remaining on his contract at Club Brugge, the Belgian Pro League outfit may decide to retain the services of the attacker.
