Nigerian strikers Olanrenwaju Kayode and Leke James ended the season in style after Sivasspor won the Turkish Cup on Thursday evening.

Kayode provided an assist as a substitute when Sivasspor beat Kayserispor in a thrilling encounter at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium.

James wasn’t named in the match day squad.

The game which was forced to extra time saw Kayserispor take a first half lead through Ramazan Sivelek, but Aaron Appindagoye leveled on the hour mark.

Ivorian forward Alain Max -Gradel gave Sivasspor the lead in the 95th minute before Ilhan Parlak equalized in the 107th minute.

Pape Moussa Konate stole the winner from Kayode’s assist with three minutes of extra time left, as Sivasspor were crowned Cup Champions.

Sivasspor will face Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Cup before the start of next season.
