Union Berlin forward Taiwo Awoniyi has advised upcoming players to be patient and dedicated while pursuing their football career in order to achieve their ultimate dreams.
The Super Eagles striker stated this during a parley with Kwara SWAN on Thursday afternoon.
Taiwo Awoniyi who hails from Olla town in Irepodun local Government area of Kwara State and a product of grassroots football, identified commitment, steadfastness and prayers as panacea to achieve personal Progress and Development.
The Union Berlin star maintained that giving back to the society is one of his core mandates He believes in the power of social responsibility as a sign of reciprocating the good gesture of the host community.
Awoniyi commended football stakeholders for their fervent prayers and also believing in him to do the state proud in the national team assignments, adding that, for not being invited for the ongoing AFCON qualifiers does not mean he can’t be part of future assignments of the Super Eagles.
He said he and his teammates regretted their failure to qualify Nigeria for the World Cup in Qatar and asked fans and supporters to continue supporting the Super eagles especially at the ongoing AFCON qualifiers.
