Super Eagles forward Taiwo Awoniyi was one of the players who modelled the home kit of Nottingham Forest today.

The newly promoted Premier League side will be making use of Macron Sports in ퟮퟬퟮퟮ-ퟮퟯ season.

Record signing Awoniyi was one of those Forest players who unveiled the jersey.

The Premier League newcomers broke their transfer record to sign Awoniyi from Union Berlin last Saturday, with Forest understood to have paid around £17.5m for the 24-year-old, who bagged 15 goals in 31 Bundesliga appearances last season.

The Unicorn and Imperial Academy graduate couldn’t receive a work permit upon his £400,000 move to Anfield in 2015 and spent six years out on loan with various sides across Europe before eventually making a permanent switch to Union Berlin in 2021.

Awoniyi has been tipped to paint Premier League with goals just like ex Super Eagles stars Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Efan Ekoku, Kanu Nwankwo and Peter Odemwingie.
