Caracas were back to winning ways with victory after beating Zulia Fútbol Club 3-1, at the Olympic Stadium.

Juanpi Añor, Samson Akinyoola and Saúl Guarirapa scored in the game.

A lot of parity inside the field was experienced in the first passages of the game, with the visiting team pressing the territory of the Avilanians.

In the 22nd minute, the match was 1-0 with a superb goal by Juan Pablo Añor, in his first match wearing the Rojo shirt, who received a pass from Saúl Guarirapa in three quarters of the field, turned to avoid the mark and he sent a powerful left-footed shot that left the Zulia goalkeeper without reaction.

The actions continued and the Avilanians maintained their presence. 36 Lion product Samson Akinyoola and Saúl Guarirapa came close to increasing the lead with a pair of headers that went over the visiting goal.

The first half ended with a minimal advantage for the Rojos del Ávila.

For the second half the Avileños managed to achieve the victory. But first, Zulia FC managed to tie the slate in the 59th minute through Lewis Peña.

Looking for a quick reaction, Francesco Stifano gave entry to Bryant Ortega and another 36 Lion graduate Ade Oguns, and the answer did not take long to arrive.

In the 75th minute, Ortega sent a ball deep to Samson Akinyoola, who received about 30 meters from the goal and after cutting inside and sneaking away from several rivals defined right leg to put the 2-1 on the board.

Without slowing down, those led by Francesco Stifano continued to stalk the Marabino goal, until in the 86th minute Saúl Guarirapa sentenced the match with a subtle right shot to score the 3-1 with the assistance of Akinyoola.

With this victory, Caracas Fútbol Club cut a five-game streak without getting the three points. The next commitment will be next Thursday, July 7, in Puerto Ordaz to face Mineros de Guayana for Matchday 19.
