Experienced central defender Kenneth Omeruo contributed his quota to the success of Leganes on Thursday, Futbalgalore.com.ng reports.

The former Kasimpasa strongman played 45 minutes as Spanish side Leganes beat Wrexham 2-0 in a friendly.

Omeruo led the backline of Leganes who were clearly the better side against the English lower league outfit.

Second half goals from Joan Munoz and Javier Aviles helped the Spanish Segunda team become victorious.

Last season, Omeruo scored two goals in 17 appearances for Leganes.

He will be hoping to be injury free, as his club aims to make a return to the Spanish La Liga.
