Sit-tight NFF President Amaju Pinnick has failed to call a Congress because he himself admitted to handful of FA Chairmen in Morocco that he is scared he will be impeached by them.
Sani Lulu was impeached as NFF President, while Aminu Maigari survived several such moves.
Pinnick met with the FA Chairmen in Casablanca, Morocco, just hours to the Super Falcons dramatic WAFCON semifinal against the host country.
‘Concerned FA Chairmen’, who the NFF prefer to label as ‘Rebel FA Chairmen’, have demanded for an NFF Congress to chart the way forward for Nigeria Football after a court order stopped such congregation since December 2021.
They are at war with the NFF Executives because they said they are not satisfied with the way and manner Pinnick has led the NFF.
Pinnick’s tenure ends on September 20, 2022, but he has now openly gone back on his word not to stand for re-election.
