Blessing Osimhen has praised the generosity of her brother Victor after the striker was dragged to Ikeja court on account of alleged refusal to pay Osita Okolo his commission from the move to Napoli.
Osita Okolo, who is said to be an in-law to the striker, claimed to be part of the team behind Osimhen’s move to Napoli for a fee of around €71.2m, but that amount is currently being disputed by an investigation into the deal by the Italian and French authorities.
According to the report, William D’Avilla, who was part of the main act in brokering the deal, was due a commission of €5m from which he will pay Osita €1.3m.
In a chat with popular media personality Daddy Freeze, Esther and her partner narrated how Osimhen took the money paid into Mr Okolo’s account with the promise to pay back and how the striker neglected her family after attaining fame.
According to them, the money was the commission Mr Okolo had received from Osimhen’s deal when he left Lille to join Napoli.
Osita Okolo while laying his complaint to Daddy Freeze alleged that Osimhen obtained the money from him with the excuse that his family desperately needed the money. So he willingly gave it to him without having a second thought because of the trust he had in him. He however described that as his greatest mistake in life.
On her part, Osimhen’s sister broke down in tears at some point in the video while categorically stating that all she needs is for Osimhen to give her husband back his money.
Daddy Freeze recently contacted Blessing Osimhen to clarify if the allegation was true.
“Victor Osimhen gives us millions of naira,” Blessing Osimhen admitted in a chat with Daddy Freeze.
“Our eldest brother has two houses in Ikorodu, Lagos.
“Victor is a good guy, our sister, Esther Okolo and husband, Osita Okolo lied against him. He is not owing them. Osita is spoiling our family’s image,” she added.
