Akinkunmi Amoo and Paul Mukairu’s FC Copenhagen will be clashing with Turkish side Trabzonspor in the UEFA Champions League playoffs.
Copenhagen successfully claimed the Danish Super Lig title after a very successful 2021/22 season.
As a result, they qualified for the UEFA Champions League playoffs, as they compete for a chance to advance to the tournament’s group stage.
Their opponents in the playoffs are no pushovers, as they come face to face with Turkish giants Trabzonspor.
The first leg will be taking place on the 16th and 17th of August in Denmark, while the second leg will be played a week later on the 23rd and 24th in Turkey.
It’s also worth noting that the losing side will be competing in the upcoming edition of the UEFA Europa League.
