Austrian Bundesliga side Sturm Graz have announced a new signing on Thursday.
The Styrians brought in striker Emanuel Emegha, who last played for Royal Antwerp in Belgium’s top league. The 19-year-old, 1.95 meter man, signed a contract until 2026.
Emegha has capped seven U-19 caps (five goals) for the Netherlands and made 35 appearances for Sparta Rotterdam in the Eredivisie.
Last winter he moved to Antwerp, where he only played once.
“I am very happy to be able to play for SK Sturm in the future. I see the perfect opportunities in Graz to develop and improve myself as a player,” the Dutch-Nigerian dual citizen was quoted as saying in a club broadcast.
The Managing Director Sport, Andreas Schicker, was also pleased: “He is young, dynamic, fast, talented and so perfectly fulfills our requirement profile.”
