Lanky striker Paul Onuachu made a return to football action for Genk on Sunday, Futbalgalore.com.ng reports.

The reliable forward was a second half substitute as the visitors thumped Waregem 4-1.

Onuachu wasn’t on song but his return from injury will be a welcome relief to Genk on all fonts.

Golden Shoe winner Onuachu was allowed to play for the last twenty minutes of the match.

It was his first game of the season having missed his side’s first three games of the new season.

He had been out of action since July due to an adductor injury he sustained in Genk’s preseason 2-1 victory over Dutch side FC Utrecht.
