The League Management Company (LMC) is set to commence its pre-season activities, starting with stadium inspection exercise on Monday, August 28, 2022.
In a letter titled “Stadium/Facilities Inspection Exercise In Preparation For The 2022/23 NPFL Season” and dated August 25, 2022, the league management body requested all club chairmen and General Managers, to present their first and second choice stadia which the clubs wish to use as their home venues for the forthcoming season.
The letter, which was signed by Salihu Abubakar, Chief Operating Officer of the LMC, and communicated to all clubs, urged the management of the clubs to treat the letter as urgent.
The letter read in part, “As part of our pre-season activities, stadium inspection exercise is scheduled to commence on Monday, August 28, 2022.
“We therefore request you to furnish us with your first and second choice if stadia your club wishes to play home matches for the NPFL season”
Meanwhile, the 2022/2023 NPFL season has tentatively been scheduled to begin on September 23, 2022 across the federation. The league will go on mid-season break after week 19 matches on 27-28 January 2023.
