Nigeria’s Super Eagles Friday morning departed Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport Abuja in a chartered flight aboard to Kumasi, where they will confront the black stars of Ghana in the first leg of 2023 Africa Nations Championship playoffs.

The match is scheduled for Sunday August 28, 2022.

Eagles’ players and officials will be staying at the Golden Tulip hotel facility in Kumasi, for the match.

Super Eagles will square up with thr Black Galaxies in the first leg in Cape Coast on Sunday, 28th August with the return encounter billed for the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Saturday, 3rd September.

The winner on aggregate will earn a berth at the 7th African Nations Championship finals to be staged in Algeria early next year.
