Powerful striker Victor Boniface was impressive for Royal Union St.Gilloise in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday night, Futbalgalore.com.ng reports.

The former Flying Eagles forward provided the assist for Senne Lynen’s solitary strike as the Belgian side won against 10-man Union Berlin who had Sven Michel sent off.

Boniface was subbed off in the 83rd minute at Alte Foersterei.

It was a great way for Royal Union St.Gilloise to kickstart their Europa League campaign in a group that also comprises of Malmo FF and SC Braga.

Victor Boniface has netted one goal and provided two assists in all competitions for his Belgian club since joining them from Bodo/Glimt this summer.
