Kwara United Football Club will on Friday, jet out to Niamey, Niger Republic, for the second leg of the First Round of the 2022/2023 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup Championship, against AS Douanes.
The match will take place in Niger Republic on Sunday, and the advanced team, headed by the Team Manager, Umar Yahaya are already in the country ahead of arrival of the team.
Kwara United FC will jet board Air Cote-D’Ivoire tomorrow by 10.25am, and are expected to arrive Niamey by 5.20pm same day.
The return trip will be on Monday September 19th, from 4.20pm, and will land in Nigeria 10.45pm.
The team will storm Niger Republic with 20 players and 16 officials, with the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bola Mogaji as the Head of Delegation.
Others in the team are the Club Chairman, Kumbi Titiloye, the General Manager, Bashir Badawiy, the technical crew, and others.
The team is expected to train at Stade General Senyi Kountche, a natural grass pitch, where the match will hold, on Saturday.
Kwara United FC won the first leg tie held at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos last Sunday by 3-0.
