Kwara United were held to a 2-2 draw by Abraysports at KFA Pitch on Tuesday morning.

United used the game to prepare for the 2022/23 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.

The Harmony Boys took the lead through Taofeeq Ahmed on eight minutes when he scored from close range but young striker Solabi Olabode leveled in the 13th minute.

On 54 minutes, Owolabi Aremu put Hearts ahead with a fine strike connecting a left wing cross.

Solabi struck again which ghosted past veteran goalkeeper Dele Aiyenugba.

Young midfielder Abubakar Boni Idris who pulled the strings for Kwara United was twice denied by goalkeeper Suleiman Alase as Kwara United searched for the winner.

The effective Solabi should have netted the winner but Aiyenugba produced a point blank save to deny him.

Boni thought he had netted the winner when he planted a volley to the far corner, but Alase foiled him.

Kwara United will face Hammola of Osun at KFA Pitch today. Kick-off is 4pm.
