Nigeria National League outfit, Rovers Football Club has reappointed Samson Unuanel as Manager of the club.
Unuanel who had one spell as head coach of Rovers FC in the past returns for a second stint in a bid to guide the club to Nigeria Premier Football League promotion.
His appointment takes effect immediately after formal contract papers were signed on in a meeting with the club’s management.
Club chairman, Mr. Ebam Ejenosowor told Rovers FC media the choice of Samson Unuanel was an easy one as he shares the club’s passion for success, is familiar with the terrain and will hit the ground running.
“We are a very meticulous club that works diligently and quietly to achieve only the best results. We have appointed Coach Unuanel and have made the announcement now.
“I urge our fans to be patient and understanding. We are working very hard, as we always do to ensure next season is a successful one for all of us,” he concluded.
Samson Unuanel and the players will on Tuesday kick-off pre-season activities in Calabar.
Unuanel has also worked at Niger Tornadoes, Ocean Boys, Kwara United, Prime FC, Enyimba and Kano Pillars in the past.
