Forgotten Super Eagles star Uche Agbo was a second half substitute for Slovan Bratislava in the UEFA Conference League on Thursday night, reports.

The utility player was a second half substitute as his club forced Basel to a 2-2 draw at St. Jakob-Park.

Slovan could not match their 2-0 win at Basel in this season’s group stage, but can head back to Bratislava reasonably happy after twice coming from behind.

Zeki Amdouni’s sixth-minute opener was cancelled out by Jurij Medvedĕv, and while Amdi Zeqiri restored the hosts’ advantage before the break, Malik Abubakari levelled again with 20 minutes to go.

Agbo replaced Aleksandar Čavrić in the 78th minute of action.

The 27-year-old Agbo struggled for game time at Deportivo La Coruna before joining Slovan Bratislava in 2021.

The experienced defensive midfielder has played for FC Taraba, JUTH, Enyimba, Udinese, Granada, Standard Liège, Rayo Vallecano and Sporting Braga in the past.
