Arsenal have decided to change their plans and are no longer pursuing a deal for Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.
Instead, they are now looking at Sporting Lisbon’s Victor Gyokeres as a more financially viable option.
According to reports, the Gunners believe that Gyokeres’ wage demands are more manageable and are now focusing on securing his services.
Despite this shift, they would still need to invest €100m to bring Gyokeres to the club.
Manchester United and Chelsea, who were also interested in Osimhen, have now turned their attention elsewhere.
