Swiss Challenge League side Neuchatel Xamax FCS has officially confirmed the acquisition of Nigerian forward Paschal Onyekachi.
The details of the deal, including the duration of the contract and financial aspects, have not been disclosed by Xamax.
Onyekachi is a versatile player who can operate as a central striker, left midfielder, or right midfielder.
Having previously played for Swedish team Växjö BK, as well as stints in Tunisia with AS Soliman and in Libya with Al-Khums SC, this will be his first experience in Switzerland.
He will wear the number 22 shirt for the upcoming season and may potentially make his debut in the Challenge League against Stade-Lausanne-Ouchy in the season opener next Friday.
