Danish Superliga outfit, Horsens have officially sold striker Samson Iyede to Vorskla Poltava of Ukraine in a deal reported to be worth €0.3m, a good profit for the club.

He only made the move to Horsens from Frederica in July 2022 and struggled to make a good impression.

A sale was completed and announced by the Ukrainian club, with reports suggesting the money paid will be €0.3m.

This represents a great deal for Horsens, because Iyede wasn’t seen as part of their plans and therefore counts as total profit.

Iyede is set to dorn the number 77 jersey for Vorskla Poltava in the upcoming season. His first official match for the team could be on August 9 against SK Dnipro-1 in a league fixture.

Having signed with Vorskla Poltava, Iyede is now part of a legacy that includes former Super Eagles strikers Chukwudi Nworgu and Emmanuel Okoduwa, who also represented the club in the past.

Apart from the aforementioned teams, Iyede numbers Ebedei, Midtjylland, Paide, Fremad Amager, Lommel, and Chornomorets Odesa as his former clubs.
